My stay at this hotel was quite disappointing, unfortunately. While the location is beautiful and right by a lovely lake, the service and maintenance left a lot to be desired. The room I stayed in had several issues, and it really didn’t reflect the price I paid. I would recommend finding another option if you can.

Rooms

The cabin was poorly maintained, with missing curtains and non-functioning lights. There were issues with the cleanliness, and the overall layout was nice but not enough to justify the problems.
Service

Service was lacking; staff barely understood my complaints and didn’t seem motivated to help. When I raised concerns, they were dismissive.

The hotel is situated beside a beautiful lake, which is definitely its main highlight. It offers some outdoor activities like canoeing, which adds a nice touch.

My stay was quite disappointing. The hotel was situated in a nice location, but the issues with cleanliness and facilities overshadowed any potential positives. The lack of potable water and overall maintenance made the experience uncomfortable. The management's refusal to provide a refund despite these problems was particularly frustrating.

I had high hopes for this hotel given its beautiful setting, but my stay was disappointing. While the location was stunning near the lake, the service was lacking, and many advertised amenities were unavailable. The room was subpar and not clean, overshadowing any positive aspects. Overall, I felt I didn't get my money's worth and would not recommend it based on my experience.

Rooms

The room I stayed in faced the highway and felt stuffy with only a tiny window. It was quiet, but the overall condition was poor, and it definitely didn’t match the expectations set by the promotional pictures.

Check-in was frustrating, with staff barely acknowledging our presence. There was a lack of clear communication regarding the pet policy and meal availability, which added to the overall feeling of disorganization.

The hotel's location is absolutely beautiful, right on a serene lake and very close to Algonquin Provincial Park, which is a definite highlight of the stay.

My stay at this inn was primarily motivated by its proximity to Algonquin Park, a place I’ve always admired. While the location is definitely a strong point, the overall experience left a lot to be desired. The check-in process felt strange, and our cottage was disappointing, not matching the expectations set by the website. It needs significant renovations and better upkeep. I wouldn't recommend it as a comfortable stopover.

Rooms
5.0
The cottage we rented was in poor condition, not very well equipped, and the lack of TV service was a letdown.
Service
5.0
The service at check-in was odd, leaving us feeling unwelcomed, and our request for more information regarding the cabin was not satisfactorily addressed.
Location

The location near Algonquin Park is excellent, just a short drive away from the natural beauty awaiting us.

Facilities were lacking; the grounds were messy and not well-kept, which affected our overall enjoyment significantly.
